How to create all tickets view in Zendesk

November 2, 2020 by Tony Weedn Leave a Comment

Recently I moved from FreshDesk to Zendesk. The reason we moved over was because Zendesk is Fedramp certified and we need a bit higher security requirements for our clients.

As I got into the Zendesk platform I realized I could not find how to create a view that had all of our trouble tickets submitted so I did a bit of googling and figured it out.

Here are the steps to create a view that has all tickets in the view:

Step 1) Login to your Zendesk support account and go to settings:

Step 2) Go to manage people:

Step 3) Click on group:

Step 4) Create the group name: All Tickets > Add yourself as the agent > click create group

Step 5) Now go back to your Zendesk support settings > Views > Add view

Step 5) Now select group > is not > All Tickets > then click save

If you have followed all of these steps you should now have a view that allows you to see all your tickets whether open or closed within Zendesk.

Hope this helps!
