So a few nights ago as we were putting the kids down for bed when the doorbell rang. Now it wasn’t a normal type of ring it was one of those rings where they push the button as fast as they can over and over. I just happened to be standing close to the front door.
I opened the door pretty quickly just in time to see these little feet running away squealing loudly that I had seen them. They ran as fast as they could and got into their parents car and drove off.
We had been egged!
Now this wasn’t a bad egging it was very good. There posted on our door was a sign that read:
Our kids loved searching through the yard for the 12 eggs with the neat treasures inside along with one empty representing Jesus raising from the dead.
With all the upheaval in this world this was such a fun, loving and thoughtful idea that we decided to pay it forward to a few friends of ours and we egged their houses as well.
Many of them have egged us back and it’s been really fun since we can’t all hang out together right now.
With COVID-19 many people are stuck inside and this was a fun thing that kept our social distancing that we were able to do with our family.
